From London
- take M4 then M5 then A30 at Exeter - it's upwards of 5 hrs drive, depending on traffic

It's 2 hours from Exeter: 
down A30 to Chiverton X roundabout (Starbucks),
take B3277 (St. Agnes).
after 1.7 miles Turn Left (just passed 7 milestone Garage),
signposted Porthtowan,
at bottom of STEEP hill Turn Right into Beach Raod
we are the big white house with red brick drive half way down on left
   - just where the road narrows to giive priority for oncoming traffic

By Bus

Fares from London can be from £16 return (or even £1 if you're lucky!), or £40 - £60 return. Book in advance!

Megabus is VERY good value and goes from London Victoria Station to:
Redruth - 4 miles (taxi/ local bus to Porthtowan/ St Agnes [Hopleys buses])
BUT leaves at odd times, like leaving London 5.40am and arriving back in London at half past midnight

National Express has more options and goes From London to:
Truro 10 miles (local bus to Porthtowan [Hopleys buses])
Redruth 4 miles (local bus to Porthtowan/ St Agnes [Hopleys buses])

(warning around 8 hours on the road from London - plus connecting to Porthtowan!)
